Mines d'or lake

Located at the bottom of the Manche Valley, about 15 minutes from the center of Morzine, this small bucolic lake benefits from a very pleasant environment conducive to walks with its passes, mountain pastures and coniferous forests that surround it.

In summer, the Mines d´Or Lake is accessible from the road by car or on foot from Chemin du Renard. Once there, you can walk on the path that goes around the lake, fish (subject to purchasing your fishing license), eat at the Mines d'Or restaurant, go hiking at the Col de Cou at the Swiss border or enjoy a mini-golf party.

In winter, the Mines d´Or lake is accessible by ski touring or snowshoeing, the atmosphere is calm and soothing. Access to hiking trails is possible with the necessary safety equipment.
