The Pointe de Nyon leisure area is a sector dedicated to contemplation and discovery of the mountain, its inhabitants and their activities.
The Pointe de Nyon leisure area is more than just a ski area. It’s for skiing, contemplation and discovering the mountain, its inhabitants and their activities.
This area is accessible on skis from Morzine centre or Les Gets, or on skis or foot by the Pointe de Nyon cable car. There is a large free car park at the bottom of the cable car and free shuttle buses from the centre of Morzine.
At the top of the cable car is the Pointe de Nyon restaurant, nestling at an altitude of 1,500m, which also houses the aviaries of the Aigles du Léman.
Le pas de l'Aigle: the immensity of the Alps beneath your feet
Perched at an altitude of 2019 metres, the pas de l'Aigle offers visitors a unique vertiginous sensation. A 15-metre footbridge, boldly clinging to the mountain, offers a thrill that promises to make your heart beat faster. It offers 350 metres of vertical drop below and a breathtaking panorama between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva. Get ready for a memorable adventure!

Snowshoe outing :
In Nyon, set off on a winter snowshoeing adventure! This adventure will allow you to discover the natural beauty of this peaceful little corner of Morzine.
This experience gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the snow-covered fir trees.
To keep little ones entertained and to learn more about the local wildlife head out on the short educational wildlife walk. Starting right by the cable car station, it’s an easy signed walk of around 30-45 minutes with information panels about local wildlife. Using the Locafaune app you can even tag animals that are spotted and participate in the preservation work.
THE EAGLES OF LEMAN
Skiing with an Eagle (10.30am) :
Come and enjoy an extraordinary experience by skiing alongside an eagle.
This unique activity offered by the Aigles du Léman provides winter sports enthusiasts with an unforgettable adventure.
Take the chairlift in the company of the Eagle and hurtle down the snowy slopes while watching it soar above and beside you. A timeless moment with this spectacular bird of prey while enjoying Morzine's sumptuous scenery.

Race a falcon (11.30am) :
Race a gyrfalcon for a chance to win a falconry course! Meet at 11.15am with skis in front of the Pointe de Nyon restaurant.

Shows :
Enjoy two free daily shows at 12.30pm and 2.30pm, each lasting 25 minutes and combining education and humour.
A great opportunity to discover the beauty of birds of prey but also to understand their fragility.
These birds have been persecuted by human misunderstanding and superstition, and we need to change the way we look at them.
You can enjoy the daily shows put on by the Aigles du Léman from the terrace of the Pointe de Nyon restaurant.
Falconry course :
Discover birds of prey in the presence of a falconer, with the opportunity to glove 3 different birds of prey (owl, owl and buzzard) and fly them, with the chance to take photos.
Available every day except Fridays, when the weather is fine, at 1.30pm after the falconry show.
Price: €75 per person - duration approx. 40 min - for children aged 12 and over.
