Le sentier du renard

Follow a trail along the river, with signs explaining the life of the fox, the natural environment by the riverside, as well as the geology of this valley.

From Avoriaz, take the Prodains Express cable car, then the free shuttle A to the "Mairie" stop, and walk to the Palais des Sports in Morzine.

1. From the church, cross the river using the Old Bridge.
2. Pass under the road via the metal footbridge to reach the first sign. The trail follows the river, with signs explaining the life of the fox, the natural environment by the riverside, as well as the geology of this valley.
3. It is possible to ascend on your right towards the Nyon waterfall from the Nyon cable car parking lot (a 15-minute detour). The trail resumes after the parking lot and continues along the Dranse.
4. Join the large plateau of l’Érigné.
   Return by the same path.
   You will be walking on mixed paths (cross-country skiing).

To take the Prodains Express cable car, purchase a pedestrian pass directly at the cable car ticket office.
