Winter During the winter season, car traffic is prohibited within the resort. Getting around is ensured by: horse-drawn sleighs, the resort’s traditional taxi service, used to transport both people and luggage, snowcats, mainly operating during arrival and departure days, as well as at night. These transport solutions ensure smooth mobility throughout the snow-covered resort, while respecting the environment and pedestrian safety. Summer In summer, Avoriaz retains its pedestrian character. Getting around the resort is made easy by: internal shuttle services operating day and night.
