Diving under ice

Lake Montriond allows this amazing activity. Open to all, beginners or experienced divers, live this experience out of the ordinary, supervised by pros ! From 16 years old. All the necessary materials and equipment will be provided. Bring warm underwear wih you.

Many methods exist, we have chosen a circuit type method, which has many advantages: accessible to all levels, even for a person who has never practiced diving, eliminating the risk of getting tangled up with the lifeline. Several holes are made and spaced so that the exit is possible at any time and is always visible. The holes are connected to each other by an Ariadne's thread (or rather a rope!) to which the diver is attached. It is therefore impossible to get lost under the ice! Moreover, following the repeated passages of the divers at the same places, real rivers and reliefs are drawn under the ice for an even more grandiose spectacle. First-time divers and divers with little experience will be taken care of individually by an instructor who will accompany and guide them in order to discover this activity in a serene and confident manner. Course of an ice dive : Welcome in our room located at the lower ground floor of the Domaine du Baron hall, fitting of the dry suits then, direction the lake... Briefing with the instructor, we equip ourselves and let's go!
